Ophelia Update: The Day After
Quick update… it took nearly all day & night for the storm to take its course through Jacksonville, but we made it through with very minimal damage (if any). There are lots of tree branches down in the backyard & such, but that’s about the extent of the damage that I’ve observed thus far. I’ll go outside later on to do a more detailed investigation (with pictures of course)…
The good news is that we didn’t lose power at all, and it was just a pretty relaxed day overall from the standpoint of us not really being frightened by the storm (I wouldn’t have been anyway). So, for us, it felt more like a Saturday where we didn’t go anywhere.
No work today as the office doesn’t have power. Will try to make the most of today and get some stuff done around here.
