Hacking Movable Type
Just got this fantastic & must have book in the mail today. This is the book that I had wanted to purchase for my birthday, but my local store didn’t have it. I finally ordered it from Books-A-Million’s website and got it in the mail today via UPS. I can’t wait to crack this book open and see what goodies it has to offer.
Since I’m signed up as a part of Movable Type’s Professional Network, I figured that I had to have this book since so many of the developers highly recommend it. Maybe I can learn my way around Perl/CGI and start writing my own plugins for MT. I definitely feel that this book will be useful as I start to build more sites using Movable Type, using it as both a blogging tool and content management system.

come to find out, this book was a waste of money. not so much that it didn’t have good information, but it’s stuff that i already knew… or could find online for free.
