God Outside the Box: A Conversation About Evolving Faith and Conscious Spirituality

A few weeks ago, I was in Asheville, North Carolina doing some work with Dr. Jade Teta & Nicole Spencer. While there, I had the opportunity to spend time with them as friends, and not just colleagues. Some late night conversations about our faith journeys led us to record this podcast the following day.

Sharing some of my thoughts on this podcast are what led me to record my last YouTube video about my faith journey. Even though I’ve been sharing a bit about my faith, this talk gave me the courage to openly share where I’m at in my journey.

I’m excited about the path we’re all on, and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

What I love about this conversation is that it gave language to something I’ve felt for a while but didn’t know how to articulate: I still love Jesus… I’ve just outgrown the boxes that religion tried to keep him in.

On the podcast, we each came from different spiritual backgrounds — me from religion, Jade from atheism, and Nicole more agnostic — yet somehow, we’re all converging on this same space. A space where intuition, embodiment, and direct connection with Source aren’t seen as heretical… they’re holy.

For me, that looks like…

  • Still holding Yeshua at the center of my faith
  • Exploring tools like tarot, Human Design, and quantum physics
  • Paying attention to synchronicities and learning to trust what resonates
  • Staying open to how God speaks — even if it doesn’t sound like a sermon

It’s wild to say out loud. Even wilder to say it publicly. But if you’re anything like me — burned out by church, disillusioned with dogma, but still craving a deep connection with the Divine — I hope this video gives you permission to be in process.

Thanks for holding space for this evolving path. If any part of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your story in the comments or via email. You’re not alone.

Grace and peace,
– LaRosa
