Soul Notes #1: This Comment Made Me Cry (Right When I Needed It Most)

Earlier this week, I was in a really low place.

I had unpublished all of my YouTube Shorts after feeling discouraged by the lack of growth on my channel. My most recent long-form video had gone two days without a single view, and I was questioning whether any of this was worth it. I knew I didn’t want to play the algorithm game — I just wanted to create soul-aligned content. But it felt like no one was listening.

Then I got a comment on one of my now-unlisted Shorts. It said:

“I wish your video gets millions of views because you have great content.”

That one sentence changed everything for me.

It reminded me that I’m not doing this for vanity metrics. I’m here to share what’s real, what’s raw, and what might resonate with just one person in the exact moment they need it. And apparently, that’s already happening.

So I’m starting a new series called Soul Notes — candid, unpolished reflections from the journey. One-take videos. No fancy edits. Just me, showing up.

This first Soul Note is a reminder to myself (and maybe to you too):
Sometimes, all it takes is one voice to bring you back to purpose.
